Daughter of Chani and Eran, sister to Lia and Yehali.
Born in Jerusalem, she grew up in Kiryat Tiv’on and Pardes Hanna-Karkur. In her last year, she resided in Ramat Gan.
Oriya studied to become a manicurist and her greatest dream was to become a mother.
Oriya had two main characteristics: the first – she excelled at making everyone around her feel loved. The most loved. And the second – her love of life.
The Nova Party was the third party that week – one too many…
Oriya, together with Sharon Refai and Shahar Manzor, fled the Party in Re’im. On their way, they were attacked by Hamas terrorists, their car flipped over and came to a stop near Kibbutz Mefalsim. Shahar died of his injuries in their arms. They managed to speak and text with their families. Their friend, Eli, Sharon’s brother, rushed to their rescue and was also murdered, approximately 300 meters away from them.
Contact with Oriya ceased at 8:45 AM, and she was found on Tuesday, October 10th, lying beneath a tree, dozens of meters from the car.
